It gives me immense pride and pleasure to welcome you to TISK English Medium School, Kovvappuram — an institution that has been shaping young minds with dedication and excellence since its establishment in 1988.
For more than three decades, TISK has stood as a beacon of quality education in Kannur district, committed to academic excellence and holistic development. Affiliated to CBSE, our school provides a strong academic foundation while nurturing creativity, character, and confidence among our students.
The academic year 2022–23 has been a year of joyful learning, vibrant celebrations, and remarkable achievements. Our students once again brought laurels to the institution by securing 100% pass results in the CBSE Class X Board Examination, with a significant number achieving First Class and top scores. Such consistent success reflects the dedication of our students, the commitment of our teachers, and the strong support of our parents.
Beyond academics, we believe education must prepare children for life. Through well-structured club activities, art festivals, Olympiads, exhibitions, sports meets, educational tours, and leadership opportunities like the School Parliament Election, we empower students to discover their talents and develop leadership qualities.
Our Science, Mathematics, Language, Social Science, and Mazhavil (Arabic) Clubs actively promote experiential learning. Initiatives such as Harithanganam (organic farming awareness), Anti-Drug Campaigns, Anti-Poverty Day activities, CPR awareness sessions, and visits to old age homes help instill values of compassion, social responsibility, and humanity in our children.
Infrastructure development has also been a priority. The inauguration of our new Administrative Block and the upgradation of our Computer Lab, Science Lab, and Library facilities reflect our commitment to providing a modern and resourceful learning environment.
